The Education Laboratory of the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMMEdu) at the University of Chile is committed to enhancing the mathematical abilities of children and teachers, integrating the power of technology, evidence from research, and a deep understanding of school-level mathematics.

• Development and implementation of websites for various projects with national reach, such as Sumo Primero, RedFID, MatCon, and Suma y Sigue.
• Implementation of monitoring and data analysis mechanisms, including dashboards that integrate and centralize information from various sources.
• Liaison between the Laboratory and the IT department, facilitating the provision of hardware and virtualized infrastructure, and responsible for implementing CI/CD mechanisms.

• Millennium Institute for Foundational Research on Data — Development of a web application prototype for systematic text analysis using natural language processing techniques.
• National Seismological Center — Improvement of earthquake detection algorithm using earth surface displacement data. Adaptation of C routine that executes the W-phase inversion algorithm.

Research assistance across two groups at Universidad de Chile.

• NIC Labs — Assistance in data collection using scraping techniques.
• Universidad de Chile — Analysis of galaxy simulations to study helium behavior. Use of particle-in-cell simulations to study ion-cyclotron instability in a growing magnetic field, and presentation of results at a university symposium.
