I am Vicente Daie Pinilla, a Computer Engineer and DevOps professional from Santiago, Chile. I am passionate about technology and software development, and I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.

My interests are in the fields of open source, self-hosting, Linux, and back-end development. The main tools I use are:

• Linux as the base infrastructure OS, together with cloud providers such as AWS.
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment of applications.
• Python, along with frameworks like FastAPI, to build APIs and back-end applications.
• Next.js, along with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, for design of user interfaces.

My current occupation is as a DevOps Engineer at the Laboratory of Education of the Center for Mathematical Modeling, at University of Chile. My responsibilities span from the administration of the servers and CI/CD pipelines to the full-stack development of web applications.
